Is anyone giving their 11 month old macaroni and cheese?

I would of course buy the healthier version but was thinking about giving him some and did everyone wait till 1 to give peanut butter.. I only have a couple weeks left and was thinking about just giving it to him..

That is my daughter's favorite! We just buy organic. We also do pb&j sandwiches cut up. Anything but honey before one. There are new studies that say its better to introduce high allergen foods earlier.

Why wouldn't you? I haven't done mac and cheese specifically (mainly because I'm afraid once he has it he will demand it constantly if he's anything like me baha)but I've done macaroni with pesto sauce and macaroni with marinara sauce.

Gave peanut butter at 6 months per new recommendations

She loves it but we have only tried it twice

I give my LO everything! Lol she loves everything we eat (just not mashed potatoes) but she loves macaroni, seasoned steamed broccoli, baked chicken, greens, potatoes, dinner rolls You Name It! Lol

@Leh22,

How funny the only thing my lo doesn't like mashed potatoes too

@Jessglover85,

It's the weirdest thing because she'll eat all other types just not those unless it's mixed with meat or macaroni lol idk what it is about it that she doesn't like

My daughter has had both. She eats peanut butter on a regular basis, prob two to three times a week. She's had Mac and cheese a handful of times.

I have been giving homemade baked macaroni for a couple months. We did Bambas around 8 months to test for peanut allergies & once he was fine started giving tiny pieces of bread with peanut butter when I eat PB&J. He's also had things with almond & whole pine nuts. Only things I am currently specifically avoiding is shell fish, chocolate (will have on his birthday on the 17th) and honey. Shellfish has been hard because I live in New Orleans & LOVE seafood but when we go out he eats from my plate. Crawfish season is coming, so he'll have crawfish soon if he doesn't have shrimp before.

@bigmel100,

My LO absolutely loves Bamba's!  When I pull the bag out he gets so excited!

Highly recommend Bamba treats to anyone wanting to introduce peanuts. :)

And my LO has had all different kinds of macaroni. He gets mac and cheese about once every 2 weeks. Don't want him attached to it.

Both! We started PB around 7 months or so. I get the organic kraft and sometimes put shredded chicken or mini meatballs cut up to add some protein to it. My kid eats everything though.
